Tadom Hill, Selangor.

Tadom Hill which is located at Banting, Selangor is an impeccable model of an ecotourism dreamland. This alluring lake spot was named after a chief who brought the Orang Asli temuan from Sungai Langat to Kampung Bukit Tadom. Before being established as a tourist spot, it was an unfertile land that is incapable for any agricultural practices as it was a hole from the leftover of the mining of sand and hills of limestone that was excavated partially. Lately, it was transformed into an eye-catching lake that is eco-friendly with wide array of activities that never fail to impress the visitors. The unique aspect of Tadom Hill is the perfect incorporation of the bamboo ethos and the amalgamation of the indigenous people.

Done for the history part and let’s move to the fun part. Basically, the prominent area is the Tadom Groove which can be explored using the day pass that offers many breathtaking activities such as bamboo diving, bamboo raft, bamboo water swings, Tarzan swings and also the floating bamboo lounging chair.

My Internship Journey

Research life is all about puffy eyes and dark under eye circles 😜  Hey guys, I was in lethargic state for more than three months and just got to realize that my writing skill is fading off slowly 😂. Well, that's a crystal clear example of my laziness ☹️. "My laziness is exactly as number 8, if it lays down, it becomes infinite" .So, to prevent the prolongation, I made a cup of coffee, downloaded some of my favorite songs on my phone and set up the laptop at the balcony to acquire inspiration from the ambiance to write this blog post. Let's dive into story mode 😀 BTW, this is an impromptu post in which I want to share about my internship journey in Agro-Biotechnology Institute, National Institute of Biotechnology Malaysia or shortly known as ABI-NIBM.  My internship period was three months which was from February to May (I know it was short but trust me guys I've learnt some stuffs that are related to my field). To be very honest, my interns...

Ever vivid memories in University of Malaya

Pavement of twinkling stars on top dark blue carpet, soothing and cold breeze along curvy waves and a glorious crescent moon that lighten up the whole scenery are the beautiful and flawless denotations of nature’s beauty to create a peace and tranquil atmosphere in the night just like my beautiful memories in University of Malaya (UM). This might sound a little hyperbolic and maybe I am exaggerating stuffs but this is how a drama queen like me would describe a life changing experience on how I broke out from my own cocoon, started to discover the true world and changed for the better after my entry into UM. I was in the ‘seventh heaven’ when was offered Microbiology at the most prestigious university in our nation as I belong to the grass rot community. My new era of life began when I enrolled myself in Army Reserve Officer Training Unit (ROTU UM) in the ...

Intensification of Microbiology and Alleviation of Irrationality.

Image of an Unknown Positive Rod Shaped Bacteria under Microscope  (Source: Luo Zaini, Microbiology Batch 2015 UM)    Thousand years before, people believed an ancient idea of spontaneous generation in which some living organisms were emerged from vital energy that present in decomposing materials. The idea of spontaneous generation was further strengthened by the observations like emerging of mice from loads of litter, occurrence of fungi called mushroom on wood that are rotting and some other similar events. Following 200 years after, scientists encountered an investigational battle over two premises that could enlighten the origin of ubiquitous creatures which are the microorganisms. Some adhered to the belief of abiogenesis which embraced the spontaneous generation. On the other hand, some opposed the idea of abiogenesis and clung to the idea of biogenesis that suggested the rise of living forms from other living things of their same kind. Slowly, the id...
